Read and Write Like an Egyptian
A comprehensive course on the Arabic alphabet
This course was designed, written and produced by Hazem to provide a modern, clear, and most importantly: easy approach to learning Arabic. Providing English explanations and simplifying complicated Arabic topics with no accent in either language, the author bridges the gap between both languages.
The whiteboard animations use the author’s own handwriting to show students a native’s handwriting, in addition to computer generated text, giving students a comprehensive literacy package. The letters are divided into small digestible lessons with each lesson building upon previous lessons eventually coming together at the end to complete the Arabic alphabet. After learning the letters, students will learn Arabic diacritics (short and long vowels) which guide pronunciation.
Later lessons provide students with more modern skills not present in any other Arabic course such as: Typing on Mobile Devices, Typing Arabic Without an Arabic keyboard, and much more. Whether it's for work, school, leisure, or religion, this course will provide a solid Arabic literacy foundation for all.
